Amazing talent!

Absolutely blown away by every single member of the cast this evening!  Well done to everyone – you deserved every second of your standing ovation!  We were a group of dancers and dancing Mum’s and we LOVED it.

Just watched the fantastic production of Chicago- it was the first time my daughter has ever seen it and we both just loved it! So professional – couldn’t have loved it more! Thank u to Roxy for throwing a rise to my daughter at the end – you made her night!

Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. That show really was west end standard- the talent was truly next level. That show deserves to be on a huge stage with sell out audiences. Wow. If there are any talent scouts about get yourself to this show – you will find all you’re looking for.


What is Chicago About?

The world’s longest-running American musical, the multi-award-winning CHICAGO, comes to Yorkshire.

Roxy Hart has always wanted to be a star but can’t quite seem to catch a break. Things seem poised to change when she is arrested for the murder of her lover. Roxy decided to become the media’s new darling and begins vying for the spotlight, and the attention of her lawyer Billy Flynn. Her idol, nightclub performer and accused double-murderess Velma Kelly begins to fade into the backgroud as Roxies fame eclipses hers.

Chicago has won 6 Tony Awards, 2 Olivier Awards and a Grammy as well as spawning a Best Picture Academy Award-winning film adaptation. Bob Fosse who, along with Fred Ebb, wrote the book, and originally choreographed and directed the show.

Chicago features numerous toe-tapping, crowd-pleasing numbers including All That Jazz, Cell Block Tango, When You’re Good to Momma, and Razzle Dazzle. Come enjoy the flash and pop of this 21 year old show as it comes to the Halifax Playhouse Theatre straight from it’s professional run in London’s West End.
